Lt. Col. (Ret.) ERAN SHADACH, Ph.D.
Researcher and Lecturer of Psychology, recognized as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and a Clinical Supervisor by the Ministry of Health in Israel. Professional Manager at the ‘Reut’ Institute for Psychotherapy and holder of many academic and professional awards.
Lieutenant Col. (ret.) Eran Shadach holds a Bachelor Honors Degree in Psychology and Special Education and a Master Honors Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Tel Aviv University. He obtained his PhD in Psychology from the Tel Aviv University, researching ‘The effects of the atypical antipsychotic drug clozapine in the latent inhibition model’.
He is a renowned academic with a vast experience as a Tutor, Researcher and a Lecturer at the Department of Psychology at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yaffo. In addition to his teaching and research, he fulfilled several administrative duties. He served several terms as a Head of Department for Clinical Psychology and Acting Dean of School at the Department of Behavioral Sciences at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yaffo.
Lieutenant Col. (ret.) Eran Shadach, PhD has an extensive professional experience, starting with clinical internships at the Tel Aviv University and at the Shalvata Center of Mental Health, Israel. Later, he had private practices at the Department of University Psychological Services in Tel Aviv University, at the Department of College Psychological Services in the College of Management, Israel and in ‘Reut’ Institute for Psychotherapy.
In 2006, he was recognized as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and a Clinical Supervisor by the Ministry of Health. Since 2007, he holds the position of a Professional Manager at the ‘Reut’ Institute for Psychotherapy, Tel-Aviv, Israel. He performed research and published various papers on psychopharmacology, the psychology of stress and anxiety and on the psychology of terror.
He holds many academic and professional awards, incl. the Social Science Dean Award in Psychology, the Social Science Dean Award in Special Education, the 2016 and 2017 Outstanding Lecturer Award of the Academic College of Tel-Aviv-Yaffo. A member of The Israeli Association for Psychotherapy and the Israeli Association for Group Analysis.
